When you speak, really imagine yourself in this GP surgery and your goal is to check in with the patient.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cGood afternoon, it\u2019s nice to meet you. I see here on your chart that you are experiencing some abdominal pain and cramps. I am here to check on how you&#8217;re feeling, ask a few questions and make sure both you and your baby are alright.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s good to know. I am going to take your vital signs now, and what I mean by that is your blood pressure, heart rate, temperature and oxygen levels, just to make sure you are doing okay. Then we are going to check your baby\u2019s heartbeat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOkay, your vitals appear to be slightly elevated, but that could be just anxiety. We will keep you under observation. And your baby\u2019s heartbeat is normal.
